Germany’s Zugspitze

Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany and is on the Austrian boarder.  It is about an hour away from Munich in a town named Garmisch-Partenkirchen . Many people use public transportation to get there; however, since we had a car we decided to drive. The BMW Museum and The Olympic Tower

The headquarters for the BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke) is in Munich, so it makes sense that the BMW Museum would also be there. My husband likes German cars, and at the time he owned a BMW, so the museum was right up his alley. What can I say, it’s a beautiful city that has something for everyone. There is the Olympic Park (which includes the Sea Life Museum), a car museum, palaces, the Fairytale Forest, and a zoo.  Not to mention beautiful architecture, art, weisswurst, large pretzels, fast highways, and beer.
