Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany and is on the Austrian boarder. It is about an hour away from Munich in a town named Garmisch-Partenkirchen . The headquarters for the BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke) is in Munich, so it makes sense that the BMW Museum would also be there. What can I say, it’s a beautiful city that has something for everyone. There is the Olympic Park (which includes the Sea Life Museum), a car museum, palaces, the Fairytale Forest, and a zoo.
