The headquarters for the BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke) is in Munich, so it makes sense that the BMW Museum would also be there. My husband likes German cars, and at the time he owned a BMW, so the museum was right up his alley.
As of 2017, a single ticket is 10 Euros. With the wide hallways, elevators, and hand railings, the building is accessible to all.
Everything there is to know about the brand can be found here – from the history of the company to the production processes and why models were made and later changed.
BMWs Through the Years
I am nowhere close to being a car person, but the museum also had a few art expos. That is what I thought was interesting.
The BMW Art Expo
The museum’s address is literally Olympiapark so we visited Olympic Park the same day. Although there are many areas to explore, we chose to just do the tower. It is open every day from 9am-Midnight. As of 2017 a single ticket is 7 Euros. The view allows you to see the inside of the stadium and the city from above.
