What can I say, it’s a beautiful city that has something for everyone. There is the Olympic Park (which includes the Sea Life Museum), a car museum, palaces, the Fairytale Forest, and a zoo.  Not to mention beautiful architecture, art, weisswurst, large pretzels, fast highways, and beer.

No need to worry if you have had too much to drink.  The city is pedestrian friendly.  Although I can walk, I do have a slight handicap and never had a problem. If you don’t want to walk, there is multiple types of public transportation everywhere.

We liked the look of Mercure Muenchen City Center. It wasn’t right in Alstadt, but it was within walking distance and near railway stations.

The Privilege Room had a little more space and a free minibar.
